Yellow Squash Saute

With bacon and butter.

From a box sold in East Moline, Illinois.

Yellow Squash Saute

3 bacon slices in quarters
1 medium onion, chopped
3 Tbsp. butter
2 lbs. yellow squash, sliced thin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Saute bacon and onion in butter till tender. Add remainder. Cover and simmer (low) 30 to 40 minutes.

Serves 4.
