Pie Crust

A classic shortening crust.

From a box sold in Canby, Oregon.

Pie Crust

1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. water

Sift flour and salt into bowl. Take 1/2 cup of flour and mix with water to paste. Cut Crisco into remaining flour. Size of pea–add to paste mixture. Roll into ball, then for size of pie pan 1/2 layer. Bake 450 deg. 10-12 minutes.
