Shells Sicilian Casserole
1 lb. hamburger
1/4 lb. hot sausage (chopped)
1/2 lb. mushrooms
1 cup marinara sauce
1 c. onion (chopped)
1/2 c. red wine
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper
[3/4 lb. macaroni shells, cooked and drained
salt and butter]
Brown meat–add rest of ingredients and simmer 1 hour. Mix with 3/4 lb. macaroni shells (cooked and drained) mixed with salt and butter. [Repeated instruction omitted.]
Top with wine and put under broiler to melt.
Serves 6 with red wine and green salad.
