I’m confused about the garlic. The recipe makes it sound like you’re not supposed to taste the garlic. Is this whole recipe a way to eat a clove of garlic? Drink a blender full of spinach and apple juice?
From a box sold in Chicago, Illinois.
1 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
1 clove garlic, cut up
1 lemon (juice)
6 slices unpeeled cucumber
Add 4-5 leaves spinach (or other greens), celery leaves (several), geranium leaf, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, a few peppermint leaves. Blend again then fill blender with apple juice–not cider–and drink.
(1/2 cup pineapple juice may be used instead of 1 cup.)
May be refrigerated but if kept for several hours garlic flavor becomes noticeable.
