A more elaborate take on vegan waffles.
From a box sold in Chicago, Illinois.
Waffles
Scant cup nuts (1/2 cashews and pecans or almonds or others)
2 cups water
Blend but do not blend out all crunchiness
Put into bowl. Add:
1/2 cup whole wheat flour (pastry, preferably)
1/2 cup oatmeal (Quaker Old Fashioned)
1/4 cup soy flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp. brown or raw sugar
Add water if too thick.
More rich–must have shallow waffle iron.
Almost cookies.
