I believe this is my mother’s handwriting and name. She was Maurine Kirkham Nichols. She was born in Richmond, Missouri and went to Christian College, Columbia, Missouri. Her first name is an unusual spelling. She died in Illinois and I kept her recipe box. She must have given this to someone she knew, who lived in Joplin. It was very sweet to see this on your site and know that she lives on beyond her family. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
