Chocolate Icing Deluxe
Beat with a spoon or electric mixer until fluffy:
- 1 large unbeaten egg
- 2 cups sifted confections sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup soft shortening
- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted.
Makes icing for a two layer cake or large chiffon cake.
For small cakes, use half the ingredients.
