Sort of a braised-in-its-own-juices chicken more than roasted.
From a box sold in Columbiaville, Michigan.
6 1/2 lb. chicken
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. melted butter
Wash chicken and pat dry with towel. Sprinkle inside with salt and pepper.
Fold legs and wings across breast of chicken, tie with string.
Place breast side up. Brush with melted butter.
Cover; cook on high, 1 hour, then low 8-10 hours.
