From a box sold in San Antonio, Texas.
Orange Sauce
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. orange peel
1 cup orange juice
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. orange liqueur (optional)
3 tsp. aromatic bitters (optional)
Put first 6 ingredients on top of double boiler. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickens.
Remove from fire. Stir in butter. Add orange liqueur and bitters.
