Cranberry Cheese Ribbon Mold
2 envelopes plain gelatin
1 pint cranberry juice cocktail
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
large can fruit cocktail
Soften 1 envelope gelatin in 1/4 cup cranberry juice for 5 minutes. Heat remaining juice, add lemon juice and gelatin, and pour half the mixture into bottom of deep marrow loaf pan. Chill until set.
Drain syrup from fruit cocktail. Soak rest of gelatin in 1/4 cup of syrup for 5 minutes. Heat remaining syrup and add gelatin and fruit. Fold in cream cheese and mayonnaise which have been blended until smooth. Pour this over congealed first mixture. Chill until firm and top with remaining cranberry mixture. Chill overnight
Slice and serve on lettuce.
