Looks like an ad for foil on the other side?

Based on what looks like big red letters that say “-A WRAP,” I’m guessing this was an advertisement for Alcoa Wrap, a competitor of Reynolds since the aluminum foils were introduced in the late 1940s. In 2000, Alcoa actually bought Reynolds, but it subsequently sold its consumer division off to an investor who named the new company Reynolds. So Alcoa still exists, but it’s not in the kitchen foil game anymore.

Compare this 1957 ad from The Saturday Evening Post:

That said, you can thank Alcoa for one of my favorite foil innovations: Reynolds Wrap non-stick foil (called Reynolds Wrap Release at… well, release).
