Orange Marmalade

As usual, don’t seal with paraffin.

Saturday March 22 edit: Now that I’m back at home I can correct the injustice Julie pointed out in that I forgot a picture of our orange marmalade bebe, Simba!

From a box sold in River Forest, Illinois.

Orange Marmalade

4 thin skinned oranges
1 lemon
1 qt. water

Wash fruit and let stand overnight.

Second day:

Cook rapidly until tender 2-2-1/2 hours. When tender, measure. Add equal parts of sugar. Cook until you obtain the jelly test. Pour in sterile jars. Paraffin.
