Mrs. Nixon’s pecan pie
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) melted butter
Sprinkle nuts on bottom of unbaked pie shell. Beat eggs; add sugar and stir slightly. Add syrup and melted butter. Stir until blended. Pour into pie shell and bake until firm at 325 to 350 degrees.
