I’m curious why it specifies cooking oil, which isn’t a historical term of art, as far as I can tell. In other words, cooking oil means edible oil you can cook with. I don’t know what you think I was tempted to use, recipe box, but I assure you my culinary ambitions rarely involve Quaker State.

Pork Chops
6 pork chops
2 T. cooking oil
2 T. catsup
1 T. lemon juice
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. soy sauce
Spread 1/2 sauce over chops.
350 deg. uncovered for 30 minutes; turn, spread with remaining sauce; uncovered, 30 minutes more.
