Cherry mix refers to another recipe in this same collection. That recipe–Frozen Cherry Mix–makes twenty times the amount required for this recipe, so you may want to do some division, or use cherry pie filling and a can of pineapple chunks altogether.

Cherry Mix Salad
1 (3 oz.) Pkg. cherry flavor gelatin
1-1/2 cup hot water
1 cup cherry mix
1 cup diced, peeled apples
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped pecans
Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in remaining ingredients. Spoon into 8 individual molds. Chill until firm. Unmold on greens. Makes 8 Servings.
