Golden Orange Frosting


From a box sold in San Antonio, Texas.

Golden Orange Frosting

Beat 1 egg yolk light. Add 1/4 t. salt, 1 t. grated orange peel, and 2 T. orange juice. Gradually add 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar; beat well.

Makes 1 cup or enough for an 8″ loaf cake. Double recipe for 2 layer cake.
