The doughnuts look like beignets, to me.

Dill Dip
12 oz. sour cream
12 oz. Miracle Whip
2 T. Dill Weed
1 T. seasoned salt
2 T. parsley flakes
2 T. dried minced onion
Combine and serve with chips or fresh vegetables.
Drop Doughnuts
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1 T. melted butter
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Sift dry ingredients. Mix eggs, sugar, butter, milk. Mix all together.
Drop by teaspoonful into fat. Cook 4 at a time. Turn soon after they come to the surface. When golden brown, drain.
Shake in a paper bag with powdered sugar.
