From a box sold in Louisville, Kentucky.
Cream 1 cup butter and 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar; add 1 tsp. vanilla and one Tablespoon water. Add 2 cups flour, mix well and add 1 cup chopped pecans. Fom small rolls, 1-1/2 inches long.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven (300 deg.) 20 minutes or until delicately browned. While hot, roll in confectioners’ sugar. Makes 3 dozen.
P.S. Use real butter or 1/2 real butter and rest margarine.
