Sort of a French-like dressing where you make the mayonnaise first. I guess this was a diplomatic way to resolve the debate between “ketchup” and “catsup.”

Salad Dressing
2/3 cup ketchup
1 cup sugar
1 cup oil
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup chopped onion
garlic powder
paprika
1 tsp. salt
Mix in blender sugar, oil, vinegar and salt until white. Add ketchup and chopped onion. Blend.
Sprinkle over top garlic powder and paprika. Mix well; refrigerate.
