1 c. butter or shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. flour
4 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. salt (use 1/2 tsp. salt if oleo is used)
Sift flour, salt and soda. Add rest.
