Snickerdoodles
Mix together:
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 eggs beaten
Sift together and stir in:
- 2-3/4 cup sifted flour
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Chill dough then roll in balls the size of walnut. Roll balls in 2 Tbsp. sugar, 2 Tbsp. cinnamon.
Bake 350 deg.
